We are facing an epidemic of pornography on the Internet of which the repercussions are still not fully understood. In fact it is frightening. With the click of a mouse, anyone, at any age, at any time can view porn online.
Governments are still tangled up by the “it’s a free-speech issue” argument. The porn industry has were able to hold onto the idea that porn is victimless entertainment which involves only an individual and the consenting adults who participate. Regulations has yet to meet up with reality and with technology. In a global where anyone can produce and upload porn videos or images, the internet is becoming filled to the brim with hardcore pornography and disturbing content that no-one should be exposed to, aside from our children!
